“ Local food, very original, simple and tasty. Best ambiance, beautiful location, sea breeze, good prices. Very recommended! ”
“ This restaurant is located at the end of the road past the harbor, a bit out of the way, but clearly very popular – we came for Sunday lunch without a reservation and almost didn’t find a table. There is both indoor seating (air-conditioned) and a covered outdoor terrace. Staff spoke some English, and communication was no problem. We tried several smaller dishes – all were tasty, and the salmon toast was especially delicious. The iced milk slush was very refreshing, and they served surprisingly good espresso (especially by local standards). Parking can be tricky – there are only a few spaces directly next to the restaurant. However, you can park a bit further up the access road. It may not look pretty, but it seems to be a common parking spot. ”
“ The location is quite hided but that is what it makes it so cool. Beside the sea, it is a good place where you can try the seafood the enjoy a good time. The workers are really kind but maybe the prices are a bit high, despite that I recommend to try that at least once :) ”
“ Discovered El Chalet by accident and wot a discovery. Went for a glorious walk up by the castles overlooking Cartagena Bay. Dropped in for a well deserved pint and lite snack. The staff were friendly and helpful the food was great and the location stunning. Thanks ”
“ Great informal restaurant next to a marina with the best views of cartagena bay. My favourite dish was the caldero (typical fish based rice dish from the bay). Quite good value for money. ”
